About my Barefoot Fairy Princesses (BPF)
The idea originated from an old sketch I
had done. I was creating my first larger scale posable doll, when the
memory of that drawing popped
into my mind. I have always hated uncomfortable shoes, and as a girl, I
would take the first chance I got to kick of my dress shoes and run around
barefoot. Sometimes at the weirdest of times. It was not an uncommon sight
to see me around church, dress up in a lovely outfit, and running around
with out shoes. Even pantyhose didn't stop me. I wore out quite a few pair that
way. So it was no surprise to me that my first Fairy Princess demanded
that she have the same freedom.
